Universal Drill, Type P II/2-8

The P II/2-8 drill belongs to the lighter series in our drill lineup and is designed for performing test and injection hole drilling in coal, as well as anchor and exploratory drilling in coal seams and surrounding rock.

Taking into account the limited space underground, particularly in the longwall face, we have designed the drill with a short effective drill rod length. However, for special applications, the unit is also available with a longer effective drill rod length. The P II/2-8 can be disassembled into three compact, easy-to-handle transport units for manual transport underground.
